Cheshire Milestones - The A529

The A529 south from Nantwich to the county boundary south of Audlem is just over eight miles.  During the current survey the five markers shown below were found and recorded.  Current OS mapping indicates two further markers (1 and 2 miles from Nantwich).  Details wanted.

Details: Type CCC 1896.  Set back from the road and almost hidden in a nettle bed.  Unusual in that no mileage is cast in for AUDLEM.
