| The tollhouse at Putwell Bridge, Brook Street, Brentwood just prior to
its demolition c.1963 during the construction of the Brentwood
bypass. Built for the Middlesex and Essex Trust, the octagonal
house was moved during the 1920s or 1930s when the original A12 was
widened.
